Installation
Minimum Requirements
- PHP 7.0 or greater is recommended
- MySQL 5.6 or greater is recommended
From your WordPress dashboard (recommended)
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New from your WordPress dashboard.
- Search for Prodigy Commerce.
- Click the Install button.
- Click the Activate button.
Manual installation
- Download the plugin zip file and unzip.
- Upload the
prodigy-commercefolder to the/wp-content/pluginsdirectory. - Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen from your WordPress dashboard.
After installation
After activating the plugin, you will be directed to the Prodigy Setup Wizard. The first step of the wizard will prompt you to connect a Store on the Prodigy Cloud Platform. We recommend that you do this before creating any products or product categories to ensure that your data is properly synchronized.
If you don’t have a Prodigy Cloud Platform account you will have the opportunity to create a free account during this process. After creating your account or logging into an existing account you can select an existing Store or create a new one to connect.
