  1. Linux server with cPanel – This plugin handles all the installation tasks on its own

  2. Linux server without cPanel – This plugin generates free SSL certs and allows you to download them easily via plugin page, you can then install it using below given instructions(links).

  3. Windows server – Unfortunately this plugin doesn’t support windows server yet.

Go HTTPS in seconds

  1. Free domain validated (DV) certificates provided by Let’s Encrypt (A non profit Global certificate Authority) are absolutely free.

  2. With a simple email address input and a one click button, WP LetsEncrypt takes care of all the aspects of domain registration, domain verification and SSL installation on Cpanel on its own within seconds while you sit and relax. HTTPS is activated instantly without any downtime.

  3. Running WordPress on a specialized VPS/Dedicated server without cPanel? You can download the generated cert files easily via our plugin page and install it on your server specifying the paths in your apache or nginx server config file. Sounds too much technical? No worries, Our Professional team can handle the one time setup easily and enable auto renewal for a minimal cost.

Why get a SSL padlock

  1. Starting from July 2018, Google chrome has begun to mark all non SSL sites as ‘Not Secure’. 99.99% of your users would exit when they see this insecure alert on your website.

  2. Organic search traffic is most critical for all websites. Google ranks SSL enabled websites higher, thus chances of SSL enabled sites to show up on first page of search results.

  3. SSL provides authentication, trust and compliance. All sensitive data like personal information, payment card details are transferred with secure encryption.

Linux Hosting, cPanel, PHP 5.4 & above, OpenSSL, cURL, PHP directive allow_url_fopen should be on, SSL installation enabled for cPanel.

Security is an important subject regarding SSL/TLS certificates, of course. It is obvious that your private key, stored on your web server, should never be accessible from the web. When the plugin created the keys directory for the first time, it will store a .htaccess file in this directory, denying all visitors. Always make sure yourself your keys aren’t accessible from the web! I am in no way responsible if your private keys go public. If this does happen, the easiest solution is to check folder permissions on your server and make sure public access is forbidden for root folders. Next, create a new certificate.
